Suggest Treatment For Back Pain

Question: Hello, I am here for a second opinion.
I have been complaining of upper-right back pain for nearly six months now.
Pain description: pain is not extreme but discomforting, increases with movement, and it gets relatively unbearable after physical effort by hours (without analgesic drug). It Also increases after being exposed to cold weather or after stress. Sometimes it wake me up in the night. When the pain reaches it peak it the affects breathing (both inspiration and expiration) and It radiates to my lower right back, and right arm to the fingers.
Physical finding: minor edema around the region. No tenderness or abnormal skin colour. no sign of trauma to the region and I don't remember I have gotten any hit on or around the region.
Most of the doctors I have gone to started by excluding any cardiac, skeletal and upper GI causes. They asked me to do ECG, chest x-ray and upper GI endoscopy. They all came out clean. As so they referred the pain to a muscle spasm/injury that will eventually heal on its own and they prescript a general analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Four months later the pain is still there and it kind of feel worse. However, few days ago I went for another doctor who I think got the correct diagnosis, and he prescribed some drugs. He came out by the diagnosis after asking for C-spine x-ray. A high quality images of the C-spine x-ray is attached.
I would like a second opinion, and I would like to know how bad is it.
Thanks in advance.

Brief Answer:
Static neck execises and hot compress should help.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concerns. Your last doctor has led you on the right track and has done the right thing by getting the X ray of the cervical spine done. I have gone through the plates and indeed some amount of cervical spondylosis is present. You need to do static neck exercises (Google out for the techniques). Ultrasonotherapy (available with physical therapists) should provide relief. Depending upon the reponse, you might also need spinal traction.
Use of hot compress on the back should provide relief.
