Brief Answer:
Do some tests

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking in HealthcareMagic.

I can understand your concern

According to the history this is a chronic cough and the fact that the cefdinir did not help shows that might be another factor that might cause the cough.

For this i would recommend you to do further examinations as follows:

ECG
Cardiac ultrasound
Chest x ray
CRP
Hemogram

Sometimes cardiac problems may be the cause of the extra pulmonary cough .

Please talk with your doctor for the above and for sure that h/she will order them for you.

If they come positive the cardiologist will probably add in your treatment diuretics (like Lasix as needed).

The other tests i need them to evaluate better current lung situation ..If you do them you can attach me the results and i am here to help you again

I wish a fast recovery for you
