Question : Hi I am wondering...I have bad migrains and take ultram. Will ultram trigger a dirty urine test by my probation officer? Also will lyrica cause a dirty test. My doctor wanted to put me on Lyrica but I was concerned it would cause a dirty UA.. I have been on Ultram for just a few days and have an appointment with my PO next Thursday.

For sure these drugs would show up on your urine screen. What makes a screen dirty is not the presence of restricted drugs but the presence of restricted drugs that are obtained illegally. So long as you have medical prescription from your treating physician with the drugs justified, there is no reason to get worried.
