Brief Answer:
Looks like a habit disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... by what you quote I feel that this is a habit which she has developed off late. This type of habit disorders will get exaggerated if attention is shown. If the kid is not having any loss of consciousness or weakness of any of the body parts then you need not worry. This is unlikely to be a seizure disorder. If it is a habit disorder then the best policy will be to ignore this particular habit when this kid is exhibiting this. I think that your pediatrician also will suggest the same.

Well, that certainly is less frightening than some of the other options we feared. She did have a stutter about 6 mos ago that we ignored and it went away. Hopefully that is all it is.

Thanks for that comforting thought. Needless to say, we will follow up with Nuerologist and Optomologist to be safe!

Brief Answer:
Please follow up with a Neurologist and an ophthalmologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... please follow up with a Neurologist and also an ophthalmologist. But by the history you have given I do not think they will suggest anything sinistrous.

If possible kindly get back to me with what my professional colleagues have opined as.
