Question: bilateral foot, ankle, leg swelling somewhat past my knee. day 5, achey, dull pain. day 5. no other symptoms. no relief with rest and or raise.

The commonest causes of such swelling which is bilateral are:
Anemia, hypoproteinemia.
Cardiac issue or blockage to the venous return.
If the toes are spared, it may be due to lymphedema.

For getting the correct diagnosis you need the following:
Clinical evaluation, examination by a Doctor.
Investigations related and leading to the diagnosis.
Ultrasonography and color doppler of the lower limbs and the abdomen.

Please get these done to get the diagnosis sop that the proper management can be planned.
