Question : Pt have smptoms of stomach flu, at first, did ct scan, thought he a blockage, no blockage, biles are green and running. Had 3 diaylis. They do not what wrong. They said he have inflamation of the colon. Been sick since 1-8-15 IN ICU since 1-17-15. Treating pt with antibotics, like an infection. They still cannot pinpoint the problem. Thanks worried wife. Also they running alot of testes.

I understand your query and concern.

Any undiagnosed source of infection usually points to bile ducts and gall bladder.

This can possibly be diagnosed through HIDA scan.

Bile duct infections in the absence of gall stones are pretty common in renal dialysed patients.
