Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder While On Amitriptyline And Lexapro
Question: I am bipolar, I take 40 mg of lexapor and 200 mg amitriptyline hcl . I am 64 years old and my Mrs are not giving me any relief.

You are on 200 mg Amitriptyline and this is a very high dose considering your age. Lexapro dose is also high. Zoloft is Sertraline and is one of safe SSRI drug use. The drug is preferred in individuals of more than 60 year age. Dose of 100 mg was not very high and can be increased to even 200 mg without worries. 100 mg Trazodone dose was also not very high. The drug at this dose has not much effects in depressive symptoms but helps in good sleep.
So please talk to your doctor and ask for re-evaluation.
