Question : I am on arip my 5 mg and nexito 10 mg as I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. But I m not able to sleep , excesssively yawning the whole day. What to do?

I have a couple things to suggest. First, I would not use Nexito, as it can worsen bipolar disorder without any clear benefit. I would replace it with a mood stabilizer such as lithium. Also, to help with sleep, I would suggest replacing Arip with a different but more sedating medication in the same drug class, such as quetiapine.

Yeah , initially my doctor prescribed depakote but later he asked to discontinue it as excessive hair fall started occurring , and he started nexito when I was going through depressive phase!Now I m taking aripmt 5 mg and nexito .. just not able to sleep !
