Question : I recently fell and bumped my head. I have had no symptoms of concussion, but have developed two black eyes. The bump was on one side of my forehead, ad the area is still sore and swollen. Should I be checked for a possible subdural hematoma?

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since you refer about both areas around eyes black, it is necessary to get evaluated about a possible cranial vault fracture.

Subdural hematoma also is a possible late complication of head trauma.

A CT scan of the head evaluates correctly and excludes these conditions.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
