Question : Hi,
I have a black growth on my arm for past few years and it has increased very slowly over time. It is not painful to touch or press lightly. But if it gets pricked by error, it is very very painful. The surface is little itchy.
I am attaching a picture for reference. Does it look something dangerous? Does it need a biopsy or something?

Brief Answer:
Looks harmless ,good to get a biopsy done
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached pictures .
The kind of lesion you have could either be a skin cyst or a benign gland tumour .
So on first look ,it surely does now look like anything to be very worried about .
But in cases like yours ,when a ledion is persisting since years and also slowly increasing in size ,it is always good to get the lesion removed and biopsied.
So I would advise you to see a nearby dermatologist or a surgeon and get a biopsy done to be sure of the benign nature of the lesion .
Hope it helps
