                                            Question : Hello,
I am 35 years old and I am trying to get rid off (or atleast control) the black heads that I get in the nose area. I do not want to go through the painful process of scrubbing, since the black heads are very sticky and is quite painful while removing them.
I have tried black head removing strips in the past but I don't find them effective.
Is there a better way I can handle this?

                                    Brief Answer:
Tretinoin cream
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have understood your concern
You may use a tretinoin 0.025% cream once daily at night. Tretinoin is comedolytic and exfoliative and would serve the purpose.
regards

Thanks Doctor. How long should I continue to use this cream? will there be any side effects like change in skin color or rashes?

use it for 2-3 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello. You may use it for 2-3 weeks. Use only sparingly as a thin film, once daily or on alternate days. It may cause exfoliation of skin.
