Brief Answer:
TO AVOID VIAGRA AS FAR AS POSSIBLE

Detailed Answer:
DEAR USER,

THANKS FOR WRITING AT HEALTH CARE MAGIC

I Understand your concern regarding viagra.

Viagra contains sildenafil. It is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor usually used for treatment of erectile dysfunction or pulmonary artery hypertension

It has a significant number of side effect.

The side effects include Headache, erythema, decreased sleep, diarrhoea etc.

It has an associated significant increase in cardiac disorder as well as a retinal bleed as well as sudden loss of vision can occur.

It is better to avoid viagra as far as possible as you have already suffered an episode of retinal bleed and further similar episodes may be deteriorating.

It would also be better if you take a opthalmologist opinion and get a fundoscopy done regarding the same.

I would further like to know if you are taking Viagra for Erectile dysfunction or Pulmonary artery hypertension? As there are alternative treatment options available..

Hope i have answered some of your queries.. Waiting to hear from you. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Yes there is always a risk of damaging your eye.

Detailed Answer:
DEAR USER THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

Yes there is always a risk of damaging your eye either because of loss of vision of rebleed

As your an hypertensive which you had not mentioned previously and on tablets for blood pressure you need to get your blood pressure CHECKED as one of the cause of retinal bleed can be HYPERTENSION itself

Secondly there are Alternative MEDICINES available for erectile dysfunction (ED)

you need to talk to sexologist who after PROPER EVALUATION of your history and cause of ED will decide on the type of treatment that will be BENIFICIAL

the available options for ed INCLUDE

1) vacuum pumps

2) Alternative phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors

3) injectables that must be taken at the time of sexual activity etc

BUT this will be decided after evaluating the exact cause

HOPE I answered your query. YOU CAN MESSAGE ME FOR ANY FURTHER CONCERNS
