Brief Answer:
most probably fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. Most probable cause in your case could be fungal infection. Fungal infection takes some time to resolve. Extra care is required in this case. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- cetirizine one at night for 5 days.
- ketoconazole ointment: apply over the itch area
- keep area dry specially after taking shower.
- keep your towel/ bed sheet separate to avoid spreading it.

Hopefully you will see improvement in 7-10 days. If condition remains same or aggravates then i would recommend you to visit hospital and get an appointment for a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
