Question: I have been having minor health problems lately. I have had a normal CBC and CT scan of abdomen 8 weeks ago. For the past few days I have had bleeding gums and a bunch of acne. I worry about leukemia and I know that is unlikely. I also take neurontin for new body pain. thanks for your advice

Brief Answer:
Consult dentist for bleeding gums, keep skin clean and antibiotic for acne.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Bleeding gums occur due to inflammation and infection of gums.
You need to consult your dentist for oral examination.
Poor oral hygiene is the most common cause for inflammed gums.
Acne can get infected and infection has to be avoided by regular washing of face.
Oily skin is prone to infection thus regular washing helps.
If the acne get infected, topical antibiotic- combination of clindamycin and peroxide will help.
If problem is severe , you may consult your dermatologist.

Thanks and take care
