Brief Answer:
Seems like gum infection..

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM...

So sorry to hear about your problem and I will try my level best to resolve it to the best of my knowledge and experience..

As per your complain and the image attached it seems like gum infection but I would need a clear image to evaluate it appropriately as I can see some dark discoloration in between two teeth in the image but due to blurriness can't exactly understand what it is..

Bleeding from gums however occurs when there is deep seated gum infection..

I would like to know a few more details so that I can guide you better..
1.Is there pain associated with bleeding?
2.Is the gum swollen?
3.Is there an itchy feeling or a feeling like pressing over the gums?
4.Do you have smoking habit?
5.Do you have any medical problems or are you on any Medication?
6.Have you taken any medicine for the gum bleeding?
7.Is the tooth that is present over the gum is decayed?

Please revert back with answers..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..

There is some pain and bleeding when brushing. There is no real swelling. I dont smoke but I have slight depression. The tooth had a temporary filling which has come out. Could you recommend any antibiotics?

Brief Answer:
Seems to be gum inflammation..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your answers and the image that you have uploaded, you have a decayed tooth with temporary filling also dislodged..

Due to this the gum in that area is inflamed and there is also a possibility that the filling material might have impacted deep in the gums leading to inflammation causing pain and bleeding..

You should first of all get the tooth treated by getting the decay removed and getting the permanent filling done..
If the nerves are exposed within the tooth, the tooth should be initiated with root canal treatment..

Other thing is that the area should be cleaned by scaling technique so that any infection or impacted filling material will be removed and the inflammation will subside that will reduce bleeding and will gradually subside..

You should also massage the gums with gum paint..
Do warm saline gargles..

Any further queries are welcome.

Hope this information helps..

Regards..

Hi..
Welcome back..

It costs about 800-1500 rupees for Scaling and about 1500- 3000 rupees for Root Canal treatment. This is about 10 GBP and 20 GBP respectively.

The charges vary from location to location and are higher in metro cities..
