Suggest Treatment For Blepharitis
Question: I have been dxd with blepharitis (sp) and have been treating it but my bad eye continues to weep constantly. After two weeks of antibiotic/steroid drops and following doctor's directions for application I left it alone and it started to redden and weep so I use the drops at night but the sx continue.

Hi Dear,
As you are not responding to normal first line antibiotics.I would recommend you to go for swab culture test of eye to find out which organism is involved in your case and to which antibiotic is it sensitive.
Treatment with antibiotic would be given accordingly.
Some time blepheritis is also protozoal and does not respond to antibiotic.
Once culture and sensitivity report is there antibiotic like cephalosporins or clindamycin would be given.
