Question : Hello for the last couple months I have been dealing with, some stomach issues like bloating, good bowl movements sometimes, and sometimes diareeah , sometimes constipated, and when I eat I tend to start feeling full really quickly. If I press on my stomach area it is sensitive and doesn't feel very good when pressure is put on it!

This is a very annoying feeling and any help would be very appreciated, I'm starting to think it is he symptoms of IBS! Like right now I have a bloated, tight feeling in my stomach and if I push out on my stomach I can hear it making some noises.

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms seems related to gastritis or IBS...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms seems to be related with gastric problems (like gastritis, stomach ulcer etc) and IBS.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to find out the right diagnosis:
- Blood work
- Test for h. pylori infection
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Upper endoscopy

Hope this will be of help!

Thanks a lot can I see my family doctor for those test or do I need to see a GI doctor ? if it is IBS that can be controlled and fixed right ?

I highly doubt it's an ulcer I don't have much pain and have never had blood in stool or urine , it's mainly just a bloating feeling and feeling full after eating, and sometimes constipated but other times I have no problem pooping 3 to 4 times a day with ease.

Brief Answer:
Yes,you can perfectly control IBS

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

1. You can see your family doctor first and then, schedule an appointment with GI specialist.

2. If IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is confirmed, it can be completely controlled.
It is necessary to follow a strict diet:
- plenty of fluids
- eat often, small portions and chew up slowly
- probiotics
- OTC ranitidine or/and PPIs (e.g. omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.)

All the best!
