Brief Answer:
please see details.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
1. You have not mentioned that where the blockage is? I hope it is in one of the coronary arteries. If there is a block in one of the arteries of heart, the patient should receive STATINs (a group of cholesterol lowering drugs) irrespective of cholesterol levels. Hence he should receive Statins, if he is not having them already. A prescription for Statins should be taken from your local physician after a preliminary checkup for liver disease.
2. His blood sugar levels are within normal limits.
3. His homocystiene levels are higher than normal but the role of such levels in coronary artery disease is not clearly known. Neither it is known that if lowering such levels will really help. Hence, no treatment for same is recommended as yet.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
I am afraid this can not be answered so easily. Any blockage more than 70% is considered significant. Any significant blockage in coronary artery has 3 treatment options. 1. Pure medical management. 2. Medical management + angioplasty. 3. Medical management + Bypass surgery.
The choice depends upon a number of factors like location of blockage, type of blockage, patient's symptoms, patient's exercise capacity, result of stress testing, wish of patient and family members, other co-morbid conditions etc.
Definitely he requires medical management but rest of the intervention has to be planned in consultation with your cardiologist.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
