Suggest Treatment For Blocked Nose While On BP Medication

Question: I am a male. 35 years of age.

I had a cold and now i am suffering from a blocked nose.

Nothing else.

Its been like this for 24 hours or so.

I am taking tablets to control high blood presure and i am a diabetic type 2.

Is there any medication i can take to help?

I have been taking beconase but this hasnt helped.

I am very anxious.

would continue the beconase. it may take a few days to kick in.

also you could take Claritin once daily.

lastly try some steam - stay in the shower for 10-15 mins and allow the steam to penetrate your nose and that may help.

Can i use sudafed? Or lemsip?

When i take steam showers it works for around 30 mins then it stops.

So anxious about this.

Becoanase just comes back out.

would not use pseudophed or lemsip as both can increase blood pressure.

your symptoms should improve over the next 2-3 days. keep using the beconase as I said also.

I would continue the steam maybe 2 or 3 times per day.
