Suggest Treatment For Blood Blisters On Lower Lips

Question : about a week ago I could feel what I thought was a blood blister on lower inside lip below gum line. I finally looked at it today as it is still there and it isn't a blood blister, It has the shape and consistency of a blood blister but looks like it is a clear or translucent inside. Small, about an eighth of an inch wide, painless. I made an appointment with dentist but it isn't for another 10 days... I found pictures of mucoceles on internet and a few photos were identical....should I suspect oral cancer?

Dear Sir

Going by description of your symptoms it is likely to be either mucocele or retention cyst which occurs due to extravasation of secretions of minor salivary gland. It is unlikely to be due to cancer. Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination.
