Brief Answer: Might have occured because of trauma. Detailed Answer: Hello,XXXXX Thank you for consulting with HCM. This is Dr. Dipti Singh here to answer your query. Actually the kind of blood blisters you are mentioning it occurs because of trauma on the tongue. It can be possible that the tooth adjacent to that area of tongue is sharp which has caused trauma to the tongue, and now blisters has appeared. Better first you should get the treatment of the sharp tooth done, and for these blisters you should apply a topical anesthetic ointment on it. In case if they are not associated with trauma then you have to visit a good dentist to get it properly examined and treated. Hope it will help you. Thank you Regards Dr. Dipti Singh
