Question : my name is XXXXXXX I'm 51 and diabetic. I had a blood clot under my nail. I stubbed my toe and the nail broke. does it need anything done to it.

Hi , I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthoedic Surgeon.
You had blood under the nail and the nail has broken. The picture does not show any evidence of infection.In this case I suggest only application of antiseptic cream over the red area for few days till the nail heals completely or it comes out completely.
Normally it should not cause any problem to you .
