Question : I woke up this morning and had a bowel movement and noticed little lines of blood in my stools. I usually have diarrhea probably steaming from very poor eating habits but this one was solid. 7 out of 10 of my bowel movements are diarrhea for the last few years. when I wiped I noticed the whole tolite paper was bloody. this happens to me about twice a year usually after eating bad food for example last night I drank a large amount of XXXXXXX wing sauce and noticed the blood this morning. should I get checked? I been to the doctors before for it but never followed through with the colon test they thought it was just a phisfer it i have no pain during bowel movements ever. iv had a hemmeroid once in the past year as well

Brief Answer:
Diarrhea since long better get a colonoscopy done

Detailed Answer:
HI,
bleeding per rectum without pain is unlikely hemorrhoids ,but we cant neglect the symptoms you have now,
Better go to a gastroenterologist and get blood tests like Complete blood count,ESR,CRP ,thyroid profile and a colonoscopy ,if everything is normal then we can consider it as an irritable bowel syndrome.
If so then we need to initiate treatment for the same .
Hope this information help you
Thank you
