Brief Answer:
probably hemorrhoids or fissure

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

since you're very young, it's unlikely that you have colon cancer, unless you have first degree relatives who had colon cancer at a young age (less than 40) or have any of the polyposis syndromes (which you don't because the gastroenterologist would have told you). The most common cause - by far - for individuals like you is bleeding from hemorrhoids or anal fissures. Anal fissures cause pain, so you should know. Hemorrhoids may cause pain if external but they are completely painless if internal.

An endoscopy of the lower colon would detect internal hemorrhoids and solve the 'mystery'.

Kind Regards!

I had colonoscopy two years ago.
the report says that I have eternal hemorrhoids with no blood.
for a month now, I have to use the restroom after 20 m from the food I eat.
suddenly today I had blood after difficulties to get the stool out.

My question, do I have to repeat the colonoscopy now?

I don't have any relative how had or has colon or rectal cancer

Brief Answer:
the hemorrhoids should be the cause...

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the additional info!

It's almost certain now that the internal hemorrhoids are the cause of your bleeding. Hard stool irritates them, so it's normal for them to bleed. If you'd like to be absolutely certain that this is the cause (and exclude other causes) then you should do the colonoscopy.

In patients like you I don't usually recommend doing it though because the chances for other causes are very very low.

Kind Regards!

So there is no need to do colonoscopy again?
how often I need to do colonoscopy?

AND if i haven't had anything in my last colonoscopy that I have done 2 years ago, is it possible to have cancer now or something else ?
I'm so stressed because I read the colorectal cancer through the internet, and I feel bad.

last question: what do I have to do now ?

Brief Answer:
don't have to worry too much!

Detailed Answer:
I would advise against the colonoscopy because this test is indicated in either relatives of patients with cancer at a young age or in patients with suspicious symptoms that can't be explained otherwise. Colonoscopy is also indicated in patients over 50 years as a screening test for colorectal cancer.

Despite that if colonoscopy would make you calm down, go ahead and do it! It's just not indicated in a strictly medical manner. Please understand that medicine is all about odds. The doctor should estimate the risk for any particular patient to have a disease and decide accordingly. Obviously there is some very very low risk but the doctor cannot recommend to every patient to do such tests!

I hope this is more clear now!

Kind regards!
