Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Stress can cause a number of different conditions but would not directly cause blood in the stool.
It can affect GERD (reflux) or peptic ulcer disease (ulcer in the stomach or upper small intestine) , making it worse, which can cause bleeding.

Causes of blood in the stool are: (1) infection such as viral or bacterial infection of the stomach or intestines (gastroenteritis or enteritis)
(2)hemorrhoids
(3)diverticular disease- this refers to the presence of diverticula (out pockets or out pouches in the intestine). If they become inflamed or infected, this can cause bleeding
(4)polyps- non cancer growths in the colon
(5)cancer
(6)side effect of medication such as warfarin, aspirin

Blood loss would cause a decrease in energy.

If you have history of hemorrhoids , then an acute flare up may be the cause of the bleeding though other causes would need to be ruled out.
Treatment would be stool softeners, avoiding prolonged standing or sitting, pain medications if painful, sitz baths

If you have a history of severe GERD (reflux ) or peptic ulcer, then this is a possible cause. Treatment would include: a scope to take a look at the stomach, holding off food if there is an active area found, meds such as prilosec, prevacid, nexium, protonix.

It would be best to be seen. The only way to definitively determine the cause of the blood would be examination of the abdomen and possibly imaging by ultrasound or a scope (colonoscopy).
Your doctor may also want to do a complete blood count to see if the blood loss has caused anemia.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
should be seen but may be as non emergency

Detailed Answer:
HI

You should still be seen though you may not need to go as an emergency.

You can make an appointment with your doctor. It is still best to be assessed to determine the likely cause

Please feel free to ask anything else
