Question:
I recently started to have blood on my stool. Every time that happens i have pain on my lower back, mostly right side, and sometime the pain is intense. It has happened to me 2 times and every time has lasted for 3 days. Some times blood is very red and other times is light. Should I worry ?

Brief Answer:
need to see doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Of course our biggest concern with blood in the stool is for colon cancer but that would be very unlikely in a 32 year old unless you have a strong history of that in your family.
There can be several other causes including inflammatory bowel disease and hemorrhoids. It would be good for you to see a doctor and get an exam and evaluation. If they think it is necessary in your case they may send you for a colonoscopy.
This is not something that you should ignore. Having a bit of blood on the tissue when you wipe once is one thing but having blood in the stool a couple times lasting for 3 days and associated with pain, this needs an evaluation.
