Question: Hi, I work in a restaurant and yesterday (Saturday) a drop of frying oil splashed into my left eye and I have blurred vision in that eye because of that. I went and rinsed my eye with cold water. I don't feel any pain in the eye it's just the blurred vision. i just want to know if it will go away? Or is it something serious?

Hi
Thanks for your query

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Your blurred vision is due to injury to cornea of eye. Blurred vision is likely to go away once it heals. After healing if opacity remains then you can have vision problems. It is advisable to visit eye specialist (ophthalmologist) for clinical examination and proper advise.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.
