Suggest Treatment For Blurriness And Focus Issues When Diagnosed With MS

Question: Hi,
I have MS and often have optical migraines. However, I want to assure myself this is the same thing. My eyesight gets out of focus at the top. I have to bend my head on one side to see more clearly. Then the blurring turns into very shiny translucent squares. And then the optical nerve on my right eye starts to shake. I already had optical neuritis where I lost my vision for a few hours than it came back. It's a recurring symptom.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Multiple sclerosis a possible cause

Detailed Answer:
I read your question and I understand your concern.

Optical migraines are characterized by the fact that they involve only one eye and usually are followed by headache (not always) inside 60 minutes, so that description doesn't look that compatible with them. If bilateral followed by headache it could also be simply migraine aura.
Multiple sclerosis though would justify those symptoms in the absence of headache. While you have mostly recovered from optic neuritis it usually still leaves behind some damaged nerve axons. That could lead to such symptoms, especially under the effect of factors like heat or exertion which do influence conduction in those nerve fibers with transitory worsening of the symptoms. Such transient phenomena are common in MS and could well be your case.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
