Suggest Treatment For Body Aches, Nausea, Extreme Fatigue, Feverish Feeling And Night Sweats

Question: I have been experiencing body aches and nausea every night for more than a month. I also have extreme fatigue during the day that is not relieved with rest along with head pain. My WBCs have been low, trending from 3.4 to 2.4 to 3.0. I have had no fever even though I feel "feverish," and when I take my temp it is actually around 96.8/97.0 F. I also experience night sweats, causing me to have to change multiple times at night (and temperature in house is cool, just using a sheet, cool pajamas...) Do you have any ideas about what could be going on?

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Suggestive of Bone marrow problem

Detailed Answer:
hi,
from the information you have provided it appears that there is some systemic general pathology.
Low wbc count warrants a bone marrow investigation such as bone marrow biopsy and smear. It will help us to find and rule out possible marrow dysfunction, that could be due to aplastic anemia, leukaemia, etc.
these symptoms are suggestive of aplastic anemia, or malignancies like leukaemia, however before any conclusion its imp to confirm the diagnosis.
Would need to know if there is history of any malignancies in your family, if there is significant weight loss in recent times.
Any medication you are on?

I strongly suggest to have a bone marrow biopsy done. LDH levels done.
no need to be worried, but take care and get the investigation done.
