Question : My daughter age 20 began to feel ill last summer (6 months ago) with nausea, body aches and fatigue. She lost about 12 pounds in three months (10% of body weight.) The nausea has stopped and her weight has stabilized but she still suffers body pain and fatigue, sometimes severe. She has tested negative for lyme, and has seen an endocronologist and hematologist with nothing unusual. She sees a rheumatologist tomorrow. The nausea is the thing that seems especially weird. I have wondered if it could have been some sort of parasite. Any thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Complete ANA profile is required
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir.
I can certainly understand your concern.
Your daughter require a complete rheumatological evaluation for her synonyms.
It's important to get tested for complete ANA profile for further information.
Additionally an upper GIT ENDOSCOPY is required to address the nausea .
Further management if any is largely based on test results.
Thank you.
