Question : a boil on my back that I lanced myself a lot of pus came out of it it's seem to be healing but it started to bother me. There is now a deep hole in my back
With a boil was tthere is now two holes about 3/8 of an inch XXXXXXX

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have gone through your query and he picture you uploaded.

There would be abscess formation from boil and which has burst open and the pus has been drained leaving behind two small holes.

But there is no need to be bothered here as it will get healed by with proper care.

You should apply proper dressing for initial few days with antiseptic cream after cleaning from sterile water and anti-septic solutions like betadine.

You will also need to take oral antibiotics small course for 2 to 3 days (preferably cefixime-cephalosporin group which is good skin and soft tissue infections).

Also take vitamin B complex with folic acid daily for faster healing and take pain killer tablet on as and when required basis if there pain but mostly it will not required.

You can see your primary health care provider or family doctor who will know about antibiotic and can prescribe you.

In most of the cases,it will get healed within 5 to 7 days completely if you are non-diabetic.
