Question : I have GERD accompanied with apnea. At times I'm unable to draw a breath. What are the remedies ?
Brief Answer:
CPAP and esomeprazole with levosulpiride.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Almost 80% of ppl have both sleep apnea and GERD together. Which one is first of two is still not known.
So the common remedies would definitely help.
Avoid sleeping after two hours of a meal.
Avoid tight clothing.
Regular exercise and reduce fat around the neck, which presses over neck muscles causing apnea.
Reducing weight definitely works.
See a doctor for the prescription of esomeprazole with levosulpiride. Positive airway pressure during sleep helps to reduce frequent awakening.
Hope I have answered your query.
