Where is the location of the break? From a general stand point....

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Most proximal shoulder breaks/fractures will heal on their own and do not need surgery just because of the nature of the anatomy of the shoulder, rarely do they need to go in and "pin" it into place. I hope this helps.
