She is having bronchiectesis. It is structural lung disease. It causes dilatation of airways.
It is a kind of healing tuberculosis and pneumonia. In some patients, this is seen since childhood.
The main pathology is dilated airways and accumulation of thick secretions.
This secretions cause infection and inflammation.
So recurrent cough, expectoration, localised wheezing, breathlessness, recurrent chest infections arre very common in these patients.
I have gone through the reports.
All reports are of 1 year back.

first get done chest x ray.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Better to first get done chest x ray, sputum examination for AFB (acid fast bacilli-bacteria causing tuberculosis) and culture.
Better to first diagnose herself and then start appropriate treatment.
Please let me know
1. Is she having breathlessness?
2. Is she having edema feet?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.

Brief Answer:
Can you please upload the x ray picture?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Bronchiectesis is incurable through medical management.
It is structural lung disease. So it can not be revert back to normal lung structure.
Medical management I'd needed to prevent accumulation of secretions, recurrent lung infection, inflammation and wheezing.
So these kind of patients require chest physiotherapy, vaccination, mucolytic and expectorant drugs.
Surgery is indicated in very few patients.
It depends on lung involvement.
So can you please upload the x ray picture, so that I can guide you better about surgery.
Also tell me if she had vaccination.
Is she taking any drugs like mucolytic or expectorant?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your wife. Thanks.
