Brief Answer:
Pityriasis versicolor; Oral and Topical antifungal

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through gour query and I have also reviewed the images.

I can see well defined brown colored patches. These look like pityriasis versicolor to me. Pityriasis versicolor is a superficial fungal infection caused by malassezia furfur, a yeast. This condition usually presents as asymptomatic brown patches on shoulders, chest, neck and torso.

If i was the treating doctor I would suggest you to apply a topical antifungal cream e.g Nizral 2% cream, twice daily for 2 weeks.

In addition I would also suggest you to take single dose of an oral antifungal e.g Fluconazole 400mg tablet. Just a single dose is enough for pityriasis versicolor

These medications should be used after a prescription.
