Question : Hi, my mother has this brownish looking rash on one of her right ankle. She says it doesn't itch or hurt. Should I be concernd?

Brownish looking rash may be senile purpura. Senile purpura is a common, benign condition characterized by recurrent formation of purple ecchymoses (bruises) following minor trauma.
The other differential can be progressive pigmented purpuric dermatoses.
