Suggest Treatment For Bruise On Inner Elbow

default
Posted on Sat, 4 Oct 2014
Question: I have a bruise which spontaneously appeared on my right arm inner elbow on Saturday. Yesterday I noticed a small hard lump in it right over where the visible vein runs down my arm. Now it appears softer. Does this mean it's just getting better and is nothing to worry about? It is about 1inch by 1/2inch.

It is healing

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms,

Softening definitely means its going for healing and there is no cause for concern. The hematoma or bruise undergoes liquefaction and slowly gets reabsorbed. Local application of hot water fomentation will be helpful.

Take Care
