Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Noted the history seen the picture and understood your concerns.
To recapitulate: Male/23 - Small bruise with a small hard lump - underneath the arm - 4 weeks - same size - no pain - no tenderness - no trauma - no medical conditions - wants to know how long can it take to go away - likelihood that it is bad ...
Since there is no instigating history the most probable causes are:
Insect sting or idiopathic fat necrosis.
May be a small infected cyst beneath, which is settling.

Lipoma does not present this way.
The way to get a proper diagnosis is:
Clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor, preferably a General Surgeon.
High resolution ultrasonography confirms what it is and guides if this is self limiting or needs some active treatment.

There is no likelihood that it is serious/bad.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
