Posted on Tue, 11 Oct 2016
Question: I feel like I have a bruise on inside of my right shin about 1/3 of the distance between my ankle and knee. I noticed that it appears like I have a dent or divot.

I do not remember injuring it.

Brief Answer:
Observation, get it examined by the orthopaedician

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query and pictures.
Pictures are not that clear but I can make out, what you are trying to explain.
I would like to know few more information like
Is there any associated pain ?
Is it tender to touch?
Do you have any difficulty in walking?
When have you noticed it.
Any medical history? Are you taking any medication?

As you have mentioned that there is no history of Any injury, and in the absence of any pain or discomfort, I feel presently there is no need of any medicines only a observation will be sufficient.
It could also be due to increased resorption of bone because of a problem like hyperparathyroidism or low calcium. You need to see your doctor and have an xray and blood work done.
Hope this helps
Take care
