default
Posted on Fri, 13 Mar 2015
Question: I feel a slight bruising and a bit of a lump in an area under the skin to the left of my clitoris. It feels as if it is half under my clitoris and half where my outer lip is. It is smaller than a dime and nothing is coming out of my skin. I did not notice the lump until I felt in the area where it felt uncomfortable. I am a married 40 yr old woman and this has been going on for about two weeks.

Brief Answer:
it might be infective origin

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the lump might be sebaceous cyst .It is commonly seen.
Sebaceous cyst is infection of sebaceous gland present in that area.
Apply mupirocin ointment.Dont apply any pressure on lump.Take paracetamol or brufen for pain.Apply hot fomentation.
Wear loose cotton inners.Mostly it might subside with above measures within 3 to 5 days.
If not subsided and size and redness increased then you might need to consult gynaecologist for a course of antibiotics. As this is going on since 2 weeks I also suggest you to rule out the diabetes.Nothing to worry.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
