Question : I bruise very easily. What is the cause? I have recently been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis but simultaneously am bruising on arms and lags primarily.

Thanks for your query.

Easy bruising has got various causes, like low platelet count, deranged clotting function of blood, fragility of skin and its blood vessels, vitamin c deficiency, etc.

We have to rule them out one by one by appropriate testing, but in you I feel this is due to increased fragility of vessels. This is mostly age related, compounded by the psoriasis.

I don't think it would turn out to be something serious.
