Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be a blister, more likely to be growth or cyst, can be removed

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. If it has been there since you were a teen and you are now 43 years old, then it is unlikely to be a blister; which should have blasted during any friction (e.g. masturbation or even sexual intercourse).

To me it seems more likely to be a cyst which can be treated and removed without causing any scar tissue or damage, resulting in better sexual performance and enhanced confidence. I would thus recommend the following:

+Visit a surgeon who can examine it physically and also run a few tests on it to confirm the diagnosis. Once it has been confirmed to be a cyst, your surgeon and you can plan excision which should not be a major procedure at all
+Also get an STD-panel conducted, just due to the nature and location of the presentation to rule out STD's completely

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

I was blood tested for diseases, would an std show up on a blood test and or donated blood? I had shoulder surgery at 18 and assumed they tested for diseases. If it isnt bothering me is there any hurry to get the surgery done? And would i have to be put under?

Brief Answer:
Yes it can; no hurry at all sir; yes you will have to be put under sir :)

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

That is good to know. Yes STD's will show up on blood tests, as long as:

1. The specific infection can be detected by a blood test
2. The test was conducted at a time period considered appropriate enough to find an accurate result (to avoid false-negative or false-positive results)

No sir, if it isn't bothering you then there is absolutely no hurry to get the surgery done. In fact, it is completely your choice whether you wish to go ahead with surgery or not. I only recommended it because your wife seemed to be concerned, from what you state in your query.

You may have to be put under as the region is too sensitive to go about excision without that sir. :)

Best wishes.
