Brief Answer:
Considerations.

Detailed Answer:
hello and thanks for sending the question.

The most likely contributing factor in this case is a swollen lymph node. We have limp notes throughout her body including the area above your collarbone as you have described. It is possible that one of your lymph nodes has become inflamed.

Usually we recommend that you see your doctor for a good clinical examination. If your doctor is suspicious that you might have some type of infection he might consider some type of treatment.

otherwise we usually watch this type of thing in the lymph nodes generally will slowly shrink back to normal within a couple of weeks. If not your doctor might request some additional studies.

Thanks again for sending your question. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns in the future.

Sincerely,

Detailed Answer:
yes this could possibly be related. Your lymph nodes can become inflamed in response to fighting infection. Generally this will slowly resolve over a couple of weeks. If the lymph node is still swollen after two weeks from today I would make an appointment to see your doctor for a good physical examination and consultation.

Thank you again for sending your question. Please let us know if you have any additional specific concerns.
