Question: Hello, I have a bump pretty much in the middle of my butt crack. It's like it appeared overnight, I'm not sure what this could be from or what it means, or if I should be worried I'm not sure. It's not hard it's more soft and really only hurts whenever I put pressure on it.

You are 24 years old- male - bump in the middle of butt crack- appeared overnight - not hard - more soft - hurts only on pressure.

I would like to ask a few questions :
Is this for the first time you are getting such a lump ?
Was there any pain a few days before it appeared ?

The commonest causes of such lumps in this site are :
-A boil
-rare chance of pilonidal sinus.

I would advise you the following:
Since this is at the butt crack , I do not think you can really see it.
It is better be seen by a Doctor / Surgeon. his will help us to get a perfect diagnosis and treatment.
Till then you can apply Liquid Povidone Iodine locally to make area sterile.
