Question : I have a bump on the inner portion of my butt cheek. please see picture attached .it's been there roughly 2-3 weeks. it occurred after I shaved the area. I thought it would go away naturally or at least to a point where I could pop it. I tried hot water it went down but was back to the same size. I still can't get it to pop. it doesn't look like a regular ingrown hair bump. any recommendations?
Brief Answer:
Looks like folliculitis, apply topical antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it is looking like a folliculitis which is in resolving stage.
It is due to inflammation of the hair follicle.
In such cases I recommend my patients to apply a topical antibiotic like mupirocin cream or fusidic acid cream on the bump twice daily for 2-3 weeks till it resolves.

Dr Asmeet
