Question: i have a bump on my face next to my ear would like to know what that is

today i noticed . when i touch it it is a little painfull . no reddish . no other symptoms

Most probably lymph node swelling

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Without examining, it is difficult to diagnose but according to history it seems to be lymph node swelling due to inflammation/infection. Since it is one day duration, so no need to worry.

Since infection is the cause, I Suggest you to consult a General practitioner and confirm the diagnosis. It is not a emergency. You may go within 4 to 5 days. Meanwhile take ibuprofen till you consult your doctor. Show to emergency department if pain suddenly increase or skin over bump become red.
