Question : I have a white bump under my tounge on side of tounge. Had for two weeks it's about size of a pimple is this from an infection.

Thanks for your query.

From the description it appears that it is a cyst on tongue, probably a mucus retention cyst. These are annoying but seldom require treatment and usually innocuous.

If it was herpes, it should have improved by now on valacyclovir.

Any other infection is unlikely as it is not worsening and there is presumably no pain, etc.
