Question : if I sent a picture of some bumps I have on my penile shaft would you be able to tell me what it is?

Also tell me the exact duration since the bumps are present. Any history of pain or itching or burning over the same. Any history of unprotected sex before the appearance of the bumps.

Ok...I just uploaded a picture. There is no symptoms but looks weird. I did have unprotected sex about 8 months ago. I noticed these about 3 months ago.

After analyzing the picture with diligence I can make out that you have viral warts on the affected area.

The picture shows brownish, raised eruptions. In my experience these must be asymptomatic. In such kind of cases I prefer to remove these eruptions by radio frequency ablation. Do not try to touch or pinch or pop the area as can cause further spread. Avoid unprotected intercourse and use protection in every act.

You can meet a dermatologist to get these eruptions removed easily by radio frequency ablation which requires only few minutes of time.

The warts you have on skin is basically a Sexually transmitted disease caused by Human papilloma virus ( HPV ).

The best way to get rid of the warts is by radio frequency ablation. Applying any self medication can cause irritation or skin burn so is not advised.

You should not feel embarrassed by this simple problem as is one of the most commonly seen STD.
