Urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of urinary tract infection. I would completely agree with you on that count.
And as such, I think I will have no hesitation in suggesting tests like urine routine and culture to know exactly what type of infection is there and what would be the exact antibiotic needed.
As for taking the medicines, it is mostly known that the two systems should not be mixed. Together you may get a bizarre range on side effects.
So please keep that in mind.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Please feel free to contact us for more information.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal.

uti it is
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have read your reports.
The infection Is obvious and I have following suggestions.
First, two antibiotics will be needed in view of her prolonged infection, presumably on antibiotics before. The fact also remains that these are the last 2 oral antibiotics we can use. All other antibiotics are injective. So I think you will need to stick to therapy.
I would start you on ciplox and nitrofurantoin. For at least 15- 21 days
With these antibiotics, take plenty of fluids. This may he mixed with urine alkalinizers. That will help control uti better.
Also taking cranberry juice us supposed to be good.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
I hope that the information helps you.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
First and foremost.
Urine infection has nothing to do with food.
So she can have as much water and whatever food that she likes.
As for precautions,
Make sure the hygiene is well maintained.
That you take plenty of water
As for Ciprofloxacin, thats one of the commonest antibiotic
That is used. I agree that it is resistant.
But nitrofurantoin alone might not do the trick
So we have to add another antibiotic.
Since all others are injections and not tablets,
The combination is the best possible option
short of admission to a hospital
I hope that the information helps you
Best of luck
