Question: Hi. How do I get treated for burning sensation in scrotum and near anus? The whole legs feel irritable and I have inflamed feeling in them and in ankles and feet as well. There is a need to itch all the time and only loose clothing and cold weather feels good to tolerate this problem.

Brief Answer:
Get an MRI, clinical evaluation with examination and other investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

To recapitulate: Male/28 - was diagnosed and treated prostatitis when you were 19 years old - left inguinal hernia surgery when you were 21 - Since then the left part of the pelvis is numb and masturbation alone relieves the problem - now that you want to know how to get treated for burning sensation in the scrotum and near the anus area - you also have a problem of irritation of the whole legs, feeling of inflammation in them including the ankles and feet - there is a need to itch all the time and only loose clothing and cold weather allows the tolerance. ..

My thoughts:
Since masturbation is relieving numbness in the left part of the pelvis, it indicates that you still have prostatitis. Relief of congestion by emptying is helping you.
The other history of excessive sensitivity of the lower legs indicate that there may be a problem in the lower spine and I would advise you to have a proper clinical evaluation, examination and an MRI of the lower spine to find out the cause and get treated as per the reports.
Also needed are:
Tests of the blood, urine with culture sensitivity and ultrasonography of the whole abdomen particularly for genito-urinary system, tests of semen and which may be needed.

The burning sensation in the scrotum and near the anus can occur due to both the problems I discussed above.

I hope this answer helps you in early diagnosis and proper treatment. Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
